Saving Synth Parameters

Sorry if this sounds very basic, but I just picked up an MPC5000, and for some reason when I load saved sequences with dialed in synths, the synths don't sound the same. I'm ending up with shitty sounding synths after tons of time spent dialing in textures and I can't just go duplicate them off the cuff, so they are lost. This is very frustrating and a bit of a deal breaker for me.

What am I missing? I seriously appreciate any help.

You need to save the Synth Program, in Disk Mode, and then load it when you want to use it.

The settings are not stored in the sequences, and not saved/loaded with them.

Thanks for the heads-up! So if I change parameters of same synth across tracks I will have to rename synth and save a new program. Fingers crossed this works without a hitch.

I gotta say once I lock this piece of the workflow down, I think I will be loving the 5000.
