Whats good MPC forums havnt been here in a while, but anyway im wondering how to change the MPC 5000's autoload settings WITHOUT deleting the original samples. To be more specific i just want the programs i setup for auto load not the factory ones, and i want unused sequences starting from sequence 1. Any feedback would be appreciated, thank you.

Change the AUTOLOAD name and mpc won't read it when powered on.

Create another folder with the samples you want, rename it AUTOLOAD.

I actually recently ran into a problem (bug I guess) with this.
I renamed the current "Autoload" folder then proceeded to
save my project into a new folder that I named "Autoload"
of course.

It gave me a weird error message about having a folder with
that name already and would not let me do it. PITA

Not too hard to get around, just name the folder something else,
save, reboot, then change the new folder name to "Autoload".

But I just can't, I still love the bit h WAY too much.

I think I'm whipped
