Ive downloaded the OS 2.0 update and followed the instructions to install it on my machine using a CF card, but i keep getting an error message saying "Failed to copy file" with an error message number below. I haven't been using the machine for a while, but when i boot it up it works fine. I managed to backup everything on the internal drive to my computer.
I also tried several things. i used another CF card, format it using mpc1000 then try to load the OS to the 5000 again. still the same error.
this is how i tried to update: Press 2 & 3 while powering up the machine.
Is my machine done?
any suggestions?
