MPC 5000 velocity > sample start ???

My question is... Does the MPC 5000 do velocity affected sample start?

A good friend of mine a couple of states away just got an MPC 5000. I was on the phone with him walking through the MPC workflow. I don't have a 5000 but I know older MPCs pretty well. I looked through the 5000 manual and didn't see it. I saw velocity > tune and velocity > filter but no sample start? Maybe I missed it somewhere?

Since I don’t have a 5000 here in front of me, I figured you all would know what I’m talking about.

It's in program mode Velocity > start, Determines the intensity velocity will affect Sample Start. For this parameter, pads can be set individually.

Thanks for that.... I didn't see it there in the manual.. I'll have another look...
