PROBLEM ON MPC 5000

Hi guys,i am having a problem with my mpc and i cant many times do my work...i dont know the reason but sometimes when i am making music my mpc is hang and i cant do nothing,only to switch it off and then again to switch it on but i had lost my project.....Could someone help to tell me what i can do to stop thise thing.... thx

You either

- save often, so that you don´t lose your whole work in case of a crash

- sell that garbage 5000 and get a stable MPC

- ask Dan when the new 5000 OS finally arrives. You know, the one he promised to us...

Which OS are you running?
Do you have the memory expansion?
