Since we see that the 5k is going after the MV who do you think Akai will pay to endorse it?
as we have seen with the Open Labs stuff endorsements can really spark interest in your product.

This piece is gonna need some endorsing to get up and going. Like my first question as a potential buyer would be "Can I get the same results from some other gear cheaper than $3500.00" Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think the answer is resounding OF COURSE YOU CAN!

Obvious BS. no mpc before the 4000 (or after) could use 24 bit or 96khz.

When the MPC 4000 and 2500 came out, people on the net cried they were too expensive. The MPC 4000 sold for over $3000 (like the MPC 60 and 3000) and the MPC 2500 which was only $2000.

The MPC 5000 is being advertised for $2500 now.
