i think hes talking about the fact that its the "click wheel" unlike the wheel on the 2000 and the mpc's before it...

I wouldn't care if the wheel was pink... long as it works! I'm definitely gettin' a 5000... Amazing all the hate going on in this forum on Akai... I say to each is own though... I don't think Akai could possibly please every one and if they did it would cost allot more ya know... 5000 is quite nice for the price in my opinion and will definitely be part of my studio this year.

wheel needs to be silent

the pads should be black - why still that school grey? maybe its a recognisable mpc thing...
