MPC 500 -> MPC 5000 Compatibility

Hi,

Trying to get my travel / studio rigs straight. I know my 3000LE is going to have problems...but I am hoping that there is pretty much full sound / sequence compatibility between the MPC 500 and MPC 5000; anyone hear anything about this. It's a little worrisome because the 500 isn't listed on the 5000's compatibility or vice versa.

I'd assume if it can handle MPC1000/2500 programs, sequences and all, it should be able to handle anything from the 500.

File compatability should be fine, the only thing you need to keep in mind when loading programs from the MPC5000 on the MPC500 is that the MPC500 only have 12 pads and not 16. Other than that you should be fine
