Is my 5k messed up??

When I chop ANY sample, even if I choose auto there will always be a clicking sound at the end of every region/pad I play. I have to trim it up to get rid of(most)it. I have seen tutorials on youtube where someone loads a sample/loop right up and doesn't even mess with the regions and there is no clicking sound. I need to know if I should use my warranty so I can exchange for another non-faulty one. If this is how every sample is gonna sound, I'm definatley taking it back. I have to Trim some of the loops/samples up so much they won't even be in sync when I'm done with it. The clicking sound will be gone but the loop is now outta place because I had to trim off some shit to rid the clicking BS.

Learn what zero cross points are and learn how to use decay or quick fade outs or something similar.

Also, that comes better and better with practice.

Thanks lamp, you always got something wise to say. I just got really frustrated man sorry. I need to just mess with this beast all month and figure everything out before asking anymore questions. Thanks for the advice, I soaked it up and will use it when the time comes.

i just end up fine-tuning my start-end points, because the auto-find zero crossings feature doesn't seem to help much.

unless im just buggin out.

zero crossings work perfectly for me. Thanks lampdog for filling me in on that.
