I just bought this damn thing today and it's still in the freakin box, maybe going back to GC in the morning. Glad I've been reading in this forum that the MPC5K doesn't play MPC2000XL snd.prg.aps. data. Is this true? How can AKAI make this mistake? Someone please verify that this is true so I can take this crap machine back in the AM. My whole library is in this format and it's not worth losing everything to have the MPC5K...its just an advance MPC2000XL anyways. Anyone had any luck or experience with this.
