HOw do i get a sample from ableton to my akai mpk25 mpc pads

i just cant figure this out. im new with both gizmos and am having a hard time figuring out how to sample some sounds im getting from my piano to my mpc pads on my mpk25.

help would make me most grateful

What you probably want to know is how to assign the MPK pads to an instrument in Ableton.

The answer will be in two parts.

1. How to assign the pads will be in the MPK manual.

2. How to set up Ableton to receive midi messages from the MPK pads maybe in the Ableton manual.

I don't use either so can't be much more help than that...
