Drums in MPC - samples reason/pro tools

I'm trying to figure out how to do:

- Programming my drums in my mpc2000xl (audio not midi). 8 outs installed.
- all the other audio I want to do through software (reason). Pro tools as DAW.

How do I get everything synced up? I have a digi002

Plug the 8 outs into Digi. Plug one of the MPC's MIDI outs to the MIDI in on the Digi. Plug the MIDI in from the MPC into the Digi's MIDI out. Go to the MPC's MIDI screen and set MMC out to On so your can have the MPC's transport control the PT transport.
Be sure to set the MPC's MIDI out to the same port that the MIDI cable is attached to in the MIDI screen. ReWire Reason to PT.

I don't use Pro Tools but I believe this is the basic way you'd set this up.

what he said^^^ but just so you know, you WILL need a midi track (an instrument track? i dont remember what they are called in pt) in protools to do this, you just record it from your outs as audio after the fact.
