New IPad Mini a17 compatibility

Just got one and copped a cheap USB C headphone adapter with charging pass through but none of my controllers (old MPK and Akai 218) will connect for use with Koala. Any suggestions or knowledge of a hub or adapter that will actually work? Thanks my peoples-

Well, just sold my KO 2 and copped the SP 404 mk2. Will be here in 2 days. The Koala functionality, Serato compatibility, and the fact I used to have a 202 back in the day made me go that way…
