yeah honestly **** that controller... infact **** controllers in general on a portable level. okay that doubles as a protective case so it's there anyways if you wanna record live input. But at the end of the day... reason, fl studio, ableton, etc.... full versions installed on a tablet with a non-arm cpu (ie: a full actual cpu) well you cant really get that horse power on a tablet with many other devices.

the thing that has me curious is... well since they are showing this controller implies they are keeping music production somewhat in mind........ does that mean the integrated soundcard is halfway decent????? cause that is not a bad thing to know.

well it's a pc... imagine running cubase to record multitrack ins from hardware... but you got multi touch for the mixer faders.

maybe that might be possible. a **** half inch thick multitrack recorder.

it's gonna be a pain running anything on that thing... but who is using that at home? we're talking for when you are on the go.

personally I wouldn't need a portable rig like that...... but looking at who tablets are made for...... at least these are made with proper components and not over glorified cell phones.

The Pro 2 version runs windows 8 and not the shit rt version.. So you can have all you apps on it for windows... This would in theory work with the ren maschine .. etc..

I got suked in and bought a ipad mini.. And it's fuking awsome... In terms of how it intergrates with the mpc.... a perfect sampler/soundmodule... midi controller ...(coupled with the right audio inteface and camera connnection kit..)

Multigestures with the garage band app smart instruments is really fun and inspiring..

I wonder who will invent the first pressure sensitive touch screen.. That's when things start to get expressively fuken cool!!!

wasnt linn coming up with a linnstrument that was like that?

Spoke to a friend who used an ipad to track sessions when hes recording alone, sounds like a dope idea.

Yeah.. That linn instrument looks dope!!!!

YEah this app auria is pretty slick.. HAs the psp channel strip... i think it's like 48 channels of audio/ 8 sub mixes/groups/ sidechain routing.(on in app purchase of fab comps)

Can record upto 24 audio channels at once with supporting audio interface.. pretty crazy....
