Reason 6

The PX7 is definitely awesome. If I had the money, I would definitely buy it. The patch converter is really cool for all those original DX7 patches. I have a ton of them saved for when I buy the PX7. But I'm more likely to make my own, since all those patches are typical run of the mill presets that everyone's heard and used a million times over the past 30 years.

Since Antidote had an intro price of $99, I decided to buy that instead of PX7, which didn't have any intro price. After 12/31/12 Antidote went up to $149. So I'm glad I bought it when I did. It's really the best analog modeling synth ever made for Reason, aside of Blamsoft Viking. Plus I got 8 effects in Antidote (which if I purchased seperately would've cost as much as the synth itself). I can run audio right into Antidotes effects. Works great with synths, guitars, etc.
All the effects in Antidote are modeled the same as the effects sold separately for the most part. So I'm glad I didn't buy any Synapse effects beforehand.
Even at $149, Antidote is still worth the money, in my opinion.

I have 13 REs and my total spending (while catching them at the intro prices, including the free REs) came out to $278. I definitely got my moneys worth.

oh cool, i do have the resampler, but have yet to use it.. i could build that combi, but why is it the ren killer? i think reason alone is a complete ren killer..lol..ima build that combi tomorrow and try it out, man, i need to speak up over at the props forum, i just get lost and never find the topics i want to find, its set up weird or something..

I came up with the name "Ren Killer" last night, basically because I'm guessing Resampler would sound better than the Ren in Vintage Mode (or whatever gimmick they call it).

It's tough trying to find good topics on the Props User Forum since most users post the same damn questions, complaints, and stupid polls all the time. A lot of people come off like pretentious douchebags, self-righteous know-it-alls, etc. etc.
Its not the same as it was back in the ReBirth era. But there's still quite a lot of good people up there as well.

got reason 6.5, and a new imac.....then got dongel issues and no internet.....****! oh well soon it will all be sorted out and I will be back with the reason/mpc combo that I know and love
