Ableton releases Live 8.4 (64bit) Beta.

I can imagine a lot of people saying, "Finally" in their minds right now.

I won't get to use it until I have some downtime this weekend and even then it will be on a secondary computer until the other features are finished. I hope the rest of the features don't take too long. I don't know much of anything about cracked version of Live though but you could always try it and see.

im downloading it to see just got the lauchpad as i couldnt get the apc 20 as it wont work on live 8.1 and to be fair it never crashes hardley only when i save when the sequencer is running and sily stuff like that but hold on i took a 4gb ram out as that was bluescreenin as weel so i was on 8bg now 4 so 64bit is gay and futile

I have had Live do weird stuff over the years. Whether it's a crack or legit Live writes stuff deep in the registry on windows. Even after manually hunting down every entry you can't totally wipe a Live install to start fresh.

I'll be honest I was attempting this to wipe out the cracks I used for 6-8. Then I upgraded my 5 license to 8 and couldn't get the AIR serial/unlock wiped to report the legit one to Ableton. Even weirder the AIR unlock was being reported back to Ableton and they didn't seem to even care.

Anyway I installed the free demo of Revo Uninstaller and was able to wipe out everything Live related. CP, I was thinking a clean wipe like that might solve the 64 bit wonky behavior and maybe you could get the 8GB running again.
