I warp my sample to fit the b.p.m of the track but when I slice to midi sections (chop it to 1/16's) the chops go back to the original tempo of the sample and not the track that I have warped it to, what am I doing wrong here?

I'm not 100% clear on what you mean. If you Slice To MIDI track with 1/16 Note as the slice parameter it will result in MIDI file to trigger the slices following the global project tempo.

This is what I do, not sure its the right way but it works for me.

I loop the section I want and then warp it.

Then on another track I resample the warped track on a new audio track.

The new resampled audio track I then slice to midi and it lines up perfectly.

yeah you have to consolidate or resample before you to slice to midi.
slice to midi does not retain the warping when its put into the midi track.

consolidate or resample first :-D

there is another way but i don't want to confuse things

in track view right click on your audio sample loop (make sure click on name bar of the audio sample loop) and a drop down menu will appear with consolidate as one of the options

It's not coming up but I have seen it before, Iv tried the other options to see if it would pop up after like, warp from here / warp from here straight etc.
