I'll be short and sweet.
I'm working at a venue, we archive and record everything. Lately it seems that during big 16+ track recordings this bizarre glitch occurs where you hear some "digital static" starting, then always followed by a constant audio delay on a few of the pro tools inputs (usually on our new ribbon mics for some reason. )
The problem seems to come and go without any rhyme or reason. We are using pro tools 10 on a newer mac mini with 2 x Roland octacaptures. It's literally like a 300ms delay on certain tracks, so far you can correct it like its some massive delay compensation. But would love to get this sorted.
Since it comes and goes, it's hard to sit down and solve this in a reasonable amount of time. Any help is much appreciated.
