Hey everyone, I recently purchased the akai mpk2 mini, and I cannot for the life of me get the pads to work in reason kong pad.

I am a total newbie to music composition, so if possible could someone please give me a super detailed dumbed down explanation because I'm tearing my hair out just trying to get the basic functions to work.

I have no idea what notes the kong pads are, I've seen other posts saying they range from C1 to D#2, which is extremely vague, it doesn't help one bit.

I've used the mpk 2 editor, I've tried modifying the notes, I can't get anything to correspond, if someone out there knows the exact notes of each pad that would really help or somehow knows how to configure the akai mpk2 mini in reason that would really really help.

The keyboard has 8 pads and two banks to switch from, a total of 16 buttons.

All the pads work on bank A, but on bank B nothing works, I've been trying to use logic to choose the right notes, but they still don't work, only some pads work, but they're all over the place.

I can't make heads or tails of it.

I am rambling on but I'm extremely extremely frustrated.
