So I needed a controller keyboard I got an arturia keylab it was faulty 
so I got another we opened it in the shop and that one was faulty too so I gave up on arturia 
they let me keep analog lab, 
Touch
So I think what keyboard should I get what will work well with the mpc ren software
Something without pads ( that narrows it down a bit )
So I think novation they make good keyboards bit of software included ,impulse or slmk2 I go with the latter ,installed software mpc not detected ,automap arrrggg,
Tho all my plug ins worked ok bit off tho faders on knobs knobs on faders
So I return the slmk2 this morn as the boss said try it out if u don't like it bring it back
I'd already installed and activated bass station vest that came with it so I think I'll keep that 
So I've now decided to get the max 25 as surely an akai keyboard should work flawlessly with the mpc software
got a wait for delivery so if anyone has any feedback about it let me know please
Can't download manual I can't get on akai's site as it seems to be down
