Can you sample while playing along to a sequence in the Ren?

I'm not going to debate on whether the 4k or 5k has issues.

At this point in time, the facts are out on which model has proven itself to be more stable than the other, regardless of feature set.

History on these two has already been established.

Sometimes you've got to talk a lil smack to get folks to step their game up, ya'mean?

MPC 4000 had so many rants against it over the years by actual users (it didn't even work the first 2 operating systems). The MPC 5000s complaints mostly come from non-users/those that have never been intereted in one (just like the Ren)...which are facts. I won't debate which is a better product as I own neither...

...but sampling while the sequencer is playing is a nice feature on the MPC 5000. The 5000 has numerous nice features that I would personally like to see added to the Ren. Before the clowns jump in....I am talking about nice software features and not bugs......but of course you can't help yourselves....

The ones that are most revered are 3k and 4k. But that's is not in line with what's popular.

Popular may refer to:

Social status, the quality of being well-liked or well-known
Popularity, the quality of being well-liked
The mainstream, the quality of being common, well-received, in demand, widely understood

Yeah, 2500, 1000.

I certainly won't debate 'revered' which would be pointless as you can't measure that.

Ren can sample while you play, yes.

can you chop samples on ren while sequence is playing ?
