Just got off the phone with GC and ended up speaking to the manager. I explained to the manager my dilemma as far as price and tht I was ready to pull the trigger if the price was right. The manager placed me on hold for a while, came back and said let's do it.

Good Deal, I was tempted to go to my local rep but they try to get me for the sales tax, but I guess a bigger discount would negate that.

The trick is to submit the price match 3rd shift, they have people in there that dont care. When I did it first they came back with 10% off for about 1169. I waited till about 2am and did it again. Woke up to the approval at 7aml. I have been dealing with them for years, if they dont want match it first time. I will submit that thing 50 times until I get someone slipping and approve it, then I place my order. I will get message saying denied its below our cost at 5pm. Wait until 1am and some joe blow approves it the same offer. I have sent B stock links and got approval for new in stock items. All about the timing. If you say a local store GC has an item and give them the number , a lot of time they wont call they will just check to see profit margin and approve it. I have developed this tutorial over years !

They match B stock prices during the overnight???? I know where I am about to order my mixer from.

No sometimes they dont pay attention that you sent them the b stock price and you end up getting an approval towards a brand new item.

After waiting for my funds to get right, I finally ordered my Ren from AMS. While I was at it, I ordered the new NI Maschine. It's suppose to ship on Monday. I can't wait.

See if you can back and get a difference of price. They now have a $200 off coupon for orders over $999. I think they honor it up to 30 days after sale.

New MPC/Ren user here, and first post..... Lurked for a while, I am a Maschine user.....

Anyway, got mine today at my local Guitar Center, with the $200 off deal.... so it was $1099. Played with it about 4 hours now..... like it so far..... Learning curve for me, but I have a feeling this may me the "one"......

Good deal at GC if it is in stock in your area....

hotboi, that is incredible you got GC to lace you on the price. I have not caught a break from GC in over 5 years since their ownership and policies changed. My local one is extra nasty about it. I inquired how much the floor model 5000 would be. 3 missing knobs, all sliders jacked, one slider mount bent, and a completely fried LCD that was putting on a seizure inducing show. The manager's reply, $1999.99.

You have performed a veritable miracle sir.
