Copying arrangement question!

now that the new 1.3 version is out if feel confident to try and arrange a track just in the akai. im a cubase guy and will continue to use cubase for arrageing but thought i would see how things come out just in the akai.

ive written my parts but now im trying to arrange and im copying my tracks but can only seem to copy a track at a time, is there there any way you can hight light more tracks at once to do a group copy like in cubase or logic? if not this will take so long to arrange.

any answers are appreciated.

Ive also just noticed that you cant copy a tracks midi patterns to another track to another sound, if anyone knows any different please help. these things need sorting out to be free to arrange properly.

Of course you can, it's just a differnt approach than a normal daw. Try sequence edit, you should find everything you need there. You can also do it from the hardware, to me that's easier.

For example, if you want to copy a midi pattern to another track with another sound, go to seq edit, choose copy events, place them on another track (in another sequence or the same) then switch the program on that new track. Easy as that

Seems like you're doing it from the software...
