WARNING!!!!
Do not do the whole process of running the MPC Ren as plugin tutorial!! It will mess your songs up. It will take bits and pieces of your songs out!! Quite the headache!!

Ive spent alot of hours looking at youtube video's,spent alot of money on worthless MPC and Logic tutorials, even went out and bought a MPC Ren thinking that would solve my problem.
The problem? How to record a beat I made on MPC into Logic 9 as a audio file live.
I should be getting paid for this information!!! Everybody else is! LMBAO!!
Ive asked friends who have gone to school to help me out and they refer me to the synchronization process or using the MPC Ren as a plug in. I wonder what they teach at these expensive schools for these Kats not to know what they talking bout.
I even went to the Akai Pro forums and their saying its not possible to do or tell you to download soundflower.
it took me 2 months of searching then one night...thank you Father God for answering my prayer something told me to try this method.

Ok enough crying LOL!!
Things you need:
MPC Ren,2000 XL...ect
M Audio Firewire Audio Device or whatever
1 or 2 1/4 cables
Logic,protools...ect

1)make sure your firewire device is installed and hooked up

2) run 1/4" lines from your stereo (L/R) into your firewire line inputs 1/2

3)turn your MPC Ren or whatever your using on in the stand alone function

4) load up Logic 9

5)start a procject...i.e..explore,empty project

6)for this example just start with 1 track, audio

7)load up your song in the MPC. Caution your MPC will probably crash so force quit and start again and reload your song.

8)play your song to make sure your firewire device is receiving the signal. turn down volume on your MPC as needed to make sure your not clipping or sending a hot signal. no signal? push mic/line in.

9)go to Logic...under EQ youll see Inserts, go down to Utilities, I/O...i chose mono>stereo.

10)youll see the lil black box with audio 1 at the top.select output 1, input 1-2 (input analog 1-2)

11)play your song. your channel strip should show your receiving the signal.

12)If you unfortunately did the MPC Ren Plug-in tutorial and mapped Logic 9 to your MPC Ren you hafta re map it for Logic.

Done Deal!! Never give up my friends
