I'm not sure if this is available in the 1000/2500/5000 but I use it every time I turn on my 4K and I don't see it in the Ren, unless I'm missing something. If you aren't familiar with what I'm talking about, basically, you can edit the start/end of a section within your sample by keeping the start/end in a fixed position. For example, if you set a 4 beat loop in your sample, you can lock that 4 beat segment in and then chop out another 4 beat segment somewhere else in the sample by using the dial to move the start or end forward or backward. I hope I'm explaining this right. If you have experience with a 4K, you definitely know what I'm talking about. Is this possible in the Ren? If not, that's 1a on my feature request. 1 being Step Edit. Can't really work properly without either of these. Please let me know if I'm missing something.
Edit: I guess a better way to explain this is, both the start/end respond simultaneously while keeping a fixed duration (time/bpm/samples/length/etc.). It would basically be like moving both the start and end Qlinks together at the same time while maintaining a defined metric within the start/end points.
