Going from MPC 1000 to MPC Studio

Wassup yall, I was a MPC 1000 user, had to return it and now looking for another MPC. What are your thoughts? Should I look for another MPC 1000 or look into a MPC Studio? I like the fact a MPC 1000 is a stand alone and you dont need a computer, but looking at reviews it seems the MPC Studio doesnt look too complicated using a computer. I'm a little familiar with Logic as well so still have to learn the Studio. Just looking for some of your thoughts, thanks alot.

I came from the 1k and the 1st thing I noticed was the change of sounds that my beats gave off. The 1k was like gritty hella analog sound(like it was in a box). Not that was a bad thing. The Studio gives you a way clean modern sound. Works really well with plugins, but the software is not quite there. and you will spend a good week getting used to the DAW.

Also if you have a good computer the software will prolly run a lil better; im off a POS Dell that crashes like John Denver. The studio and the ren is the future.

word, there's always gonna be a learning curve. But if I buy another 1000, I can hook that up to the computer as well, and use it as a standalone, so what's the benefit of the studio?
