Sampling from DAW host ?

Hi,
is it somehow possible to sample audio from the host DAW when loaded as Plugin?

The best solution for me currently is just to launch a DAW in parallel to the MPC while using a separate soundcard and sample via TRS Cable into the Ren

That's what I do. I sync them both via MIDI and then record anything going out of my DAW into my Ren. Requires cabling, but it's the best way to avoid installing tools like Soundflower etc. - just patch it.

When you record audio in your DAW, it is saved in a project folder. You can enter that project folder from the Ren/Studio's Browser...then drag-n-drop to a pad.
