Drawing straight lines in automation / overriding breakpoint

I'd love to see this. Currently, if I want to make a straight line, it's hard.

I'd also love for there to be a feature that lets me click on a breakpoint (or, "anchor point"), and then "override" all existing breakpoints that there are. Now, if I try to draw a straight line, I get lots of breakpoints, and as I draw by hand, there's gonna be lots of steps.
This could be solved by drawing one breakpoint where I want to start the automation, then clicking on it and dragging it where I want it to end, to create a line...for example, if I wanted to draw a filter sweep. Drawing curves isn't ideal.

E.g., in Ableton Live, if you click on a breakpoint and hold shift, you can "ride over" all existing breakpoints in automation.

+1 I would love some sort of line tool for drawing straight automation lines.
Just so you know if you turn T.C. to off you get the highest resolution possible for drawing smooth lines, but I hope you're skilled at drawing with a mouse.

I was thinking about buying a Wacom tablet w/pen for drawing in automation

though I'd prefer some sort of line tool or what you recommended built in.

Yeah but I should be able to get a clean, straight line effortlessly in two seconds. It's 2013.
