Assignable outputs for sends?? possible?

I don't see a way to get the assignable outputs to work as sends. not very assignable.. want to send a whole track out --->tape player --> analog compressor/eq --> back into mpc. But I want to have the original unprocessed signal too and mix a balance like I would a Send..

I know I can just sample then mix the samples.. or I can leave it raw and do this all in pro tools. but it should be easier than that.
Any ideas?? Akai should consider adding it to the send effects.
