red light is off

screwing with my head

It worked fine for a month, but the red light went off tonight.

can it Be fixed

faulty hardware. return your ren and get something more solid!

Yes but it would require an experienced technician who is capable of soldering surface mount components and preferably authorized to repair akai equipment so you don't void your warranty.
