I just got my mpc yesterday installed everything and it keeps giving me an error.

The drive is not ready for use; it's door may be open. Please check drive A: and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed.
WTF? i didn't install anything on A, I select a different drive in the browser after i have to keep pressing cancel to get the program to run. I just keeps doing it and i did update to 1.4

Annoying, wonder why this this wasn't found in beta testing, did they beta test on Windows?

Test out the 5 quick access folder icons at the top of the file browser, do they seem to work properly, or are you having similar problems with those as well?

Ok i figured it out in case anyone else has the same problem. What you have to is(once you get it to open) click on the file icon marked 1 to highlight it,then drag the folder you want to open on start up over it.

Nice troubleshooting!

So, you have to manually set each of the 5 quick access folder icons for them to work properly, by dragging a folder from the file browser onto the 5 folder icons, especially the 1st icon to avoid the A: error message on opening MPC Software.
