This only happens with some plugins for me.

When I use Trilian, it remembers the patch. When I use Albino, it doesn't.

You have NO idea. Bypass button on Effects panels is a MUST. Was there on legacy MPCs. It's not something fancy... Just an effective Bypass button!

Legacy MPCs do not support plugins.

Each Ren track has an FX on/off switch to bypass FXs. But this 'bypass' is applied to all FX slots on a track. There should be one for each FX slot IMO.

Bypass is essential.
They have been used on processors since 1745...

Finding more and more plug ins with settings not remembered when re-loading a session again. This is not an inconvenience its a major issue. I haven't mentioned a number of issues I find in the Ren as I'm giving nuAkai a wide berth at least until 1.4. I also dont want to add to much to the issues on the forum
But SIMPLE stuff like this really MUST be addressed before implementing new features.

So you are reloading your projects and your FX settings are not being maintained? Or Plugin instruments?

Are there others with this issue? Specifics please as this is a big issue in my opinion. I will type of the bug report immediately.

Processors - as I have only tried a couple of VST instruments and so far they seem fine.
Im not screaming about this at the moment because I do see it as early days.
Im intentionally messing around with the Ren using only its own plugins - except the odd occasion where I have tried some of my own and I have spotted settings not saved.

What I mean is that the MPC1000 w/ Akai OS has a Bypass button for every Effect. This is needed for the Ren. It seems like an essential (non-fancy) thing to have for an effective workflow.

Exactly.
