Recordings with mic -sound problem - only one speaker

I Have a ren and a mic connected directly to it (XLR). When I record something, the Ren only plays the sound thru one speaker.
If the mic is connected to the left xlr input the sound goes to the left speaker
And right input gives sound to right speaker only.
What have I done wrong?

Record your mic doings .
Play it back.
