hi, first off, it's really cool to have samples automatically assigned to a pad bank after chopping!
somehow there occurs a strange thing that drives me crazy:
here's what i do
1) open a sample in sample-edit
2) get into chopping mode, chop to: threshold 50
3) convert to: sliced samples, crop samples:on, create new program:on
so lets say i take one sample (sample A on pad1) from this newly created program and record it into track1 in the beginning of bar 2.
now if if i want to add another sound to the sequence, let's say sample B from pad5 to the sequence at the same position where we have sample A (at the beginning of bar 2) .....
...what happens is that sample B "takes the spot" and sample A gets "kicked out" of the sequence
note:
1) mpc update 1.4
2) sample A from pad1 and sample B from pad5 were recorded into different tracks
3) in "prog edit" both pads' "mute group" is turned off.
what's wrong?
please help!
i'm sure a lot of ppl have to deal with this problem....thx
