Hey,

i am about to switch studio for Renaissance, so i wonder can i keep my registered MPC software and give one that comes with renaissance to studio when selling?

I tried that. And everytime I launched the MPC Software, I would receive a message indicating that the controller I am using is not the one I registered with the software. But it still worked.

But now...you potentially have an issue where your MPC Studio is registered to two people.

I would take all precautions. Contact Akai Tech Support to see if they can wipe the MPC Studio registration from their data base and allow you to register the MPC Ren with the MPC Software you previously registered.

thanks JAH, that's what i was worried about. I will contact Akai support to see, because i also had Studio for like a week and i would like to sell it as almost new.

edit: i called Akai support and they said i should register with new software and then contact them so they will reset studio software registration.
