mpc transport controls

I had a question when im using the mpc studio as a plugin in logic. When I hit record the mpc metronome does not count in and just records how can I change this to have a count in like I have on my legacy mpc

Is the MPC Metronone set to Record or Record + Play.

should I put the transport controls to daw or plugin?

Its up to you. Set it to plugin in you are recording into the MPC Sequencer. Set it to DAW if you are recording into your DAW.

Be sure to read the doc on mapping the transport for further info.

thanks i got it to work but do I have to click record on my mpc software in my daw each time I want to record or can I just do it on my mpc hardware cuz when I try to do it on my mpc hardware it doesnt record
