Because i mix in the daw, the daw tracks are setup to receive virtual outs from ren plugin..
since i'm arranging in the daw and not the ren sequencer, i can only use one pgm at a time anyway(performance wise)

A pgm that has a melody chop can be routed through a track channel inside the ren, then that track channel can be routed to a virtual out.

I can arm that daw track that receives that specific virtual out... When i arm that "daw" track it records the audio like a audio track or tape player basically creating audio loops...

When i need a seperate track (like i have a new pgm and want it seperated in it's own daw track) i just duplicate the daw track which keeps the daw routing setting..

A drum pgm is different, as i want the each drum sound to have a seprate daw track, so each pad in one pgm gets routed to a virtual out (or each drum type.. eg snare kiks and hihats go to virtual outs)
If i want to create a drum loop with a hihat snare and kik but have it done in one pass, or take, i;d have three "daw" tracks recording and armed.. Each one would record those seperate sounds as loops....
REplace the word daw with 'reaper' as thats what i use for my daw..
