re: Essentials software can anyone tell me if there is per-step pitch control in addition to velocity in the step sequencer? how about filter and panning and if so how many modifications can be applied per step?
i believe this question applies to the full Akai software and not just Essentials as per this note from an Akai FAQ:
"What is the difference between MPC Software and MPC Essentials?
All features are the same with the exception of the following:
MPC Essentials features 1 track, no track mix, no track sends; and can be run in multiple instances in a plugin host.
MPC Software (the full version) includes 128 tracks, a track mixer, track sends; and can be loaded just once in a plugin host."
lastly: for anyone who has used it how does the Element hardware feel?
