Automation of Level...how to revert back?

So,

Forgetting to turn off record when i go back to the track mixer and adjust the q-links. So it records the moments. How do I turn them off?

I have had this also, but not just the automation but the initial start point of the sequence. I adjust the volumes od tracks and when I hit play, they all jump back to where they were when it starts or even when it loops back to bar 1. This has been with plugin volumes and I haven't tinkered with it so much yet. I have had to delete track and re-record certain intruments in some sequences at the adjusted level, which recorded the new volume. There has to be an easier way...

I know in track mixer you can draw or redraw and add and delete volume, but I still have had issue with that inital 1:01:01 start/loop

+1 I had to throw hours of work out this weekend because I kept recording mutes and track levels and couldn't figure out how to revert them back. I'm hoping I just don't understand the software well enough yet.

If i'm recording on a new track in a sequence, with the other tracks in the sequence muted, the muting of those tracks should not have been recorded, and if it is, I need to be able to unmute those tracks easily.

You can just bring up the automation and delete it. The design flaw, if you can call it that, is the software will leave the start point in your automation lane.

If you also delete this then it will be as if you never automated at all.

I make most of my tunes now using this feature, automating everything from mutes to q links, mixer controls, plug ins, sends, etc... and will often refine the automation before I record the final take or delete and re-write should I need to.

Thanks NM. I was hoping it was something I just need to research. I could see the level and mute automations in my track lane, but couldn't figure out how to delete them. I'll look into your suggestion.

for MUTEs you can delete the automation of a particular track [or ALL tracks] by going into the TRACK MUTE screen, placing the cursor over where it says USE EVENTS and then pressing the WINDOW button... from there select the track [or ALL] and then press the ERASE button to delete the events on that track/s.

TRU. I did the same exact mistake in Nexus 2 today. Had to look through every automation param till I found the one that was written on. AKAI should have any working/ live automation highlighted or something, or showing by default. Would be nice.
