Hi there,
Some time ago I got the MPC Renaissance. Today, because I am really diggin the live
fingerdrumming, I need more than 16 pads. Is it therefore possible to connect a 16pad MIDI controller (I'm thinking a MPD model or the MPC Element) to the MPC Ren, so that I am able to play two different padbanks (of the same program) or even two different programs at the same time? And if so, (how) would the buttons other than the 16 pads of the MIDI (like the padbank buttons, the full level button etc.,) take effect on the MPC Software? Would they be of seperate use to their counterparts on the MPC Ren?

Thank you for your help! :smoker:

I'd say it should be cause I can control multiple banks on my Studio and in software with my midi keyboard.

As I move up and down the keyboard, I can access multiple banks of sounds I have assigned to pads.

So another midi interface, be it keyboard or MPD, or midi controller, should achieve the same result
