Hi all,

I have the mpc studio and mpk25 running ok together but I wanted to know if the Qlink parameters in the mpc software can be controlled from the knobs on the mpk25?

The mpk25 knobs can be mapped to any cc parameter so surely it should be possible to map them to the matching cc number in the mpc software?

Anyone had any success with this...

You can get the Qlink cc numbers when you click on the midi button on the mpc software.
Qlink 1 is cc104 but when I set the knob on the mpk to cc104 nothing happens on the software.
Seems like a big miss if this is not possible.

Well, I haven't tried it, but i' assuming you cant... Because mpc software is not multitimtral.. Meaning you cannot use external midi device/input to control multiple pgms/tracks....

And there is no way to assign midi cc to a qlink...(as in midi input cc to qlink number 1 ... etc)

Mpc software can be configured to send midi out.. it just cant recieve it well or is very limited...

Yeah the pads and keys on the mpk will control the mpc software but the knobs will not.
Maybe Akai will implement this in an update or maybe not...
