I just bought a used MPC Studio from Long and McQuade. So far, other than installation being annoying, I'm loving it. All the hardware seems to be good except one thing:

On Pad 1, there is a certain spot towards the middle-bottom of the pad that will make a click/pop noise when I press there. Not to confuse anyone, it makes this noise in real life, not the software/audio out.

Is this a problem? Like will it just get worse and the pad will be unusable? So far, I don't notice a difference.

Try lightly squeezing the frame of the studio in the corner to see if its the case making the clicking sound or just the pad. That will help determine if the case is the issue (which shouldn't affect functionality) or the pad/circuit board under the pad (which would be more likely to cause issues) . Once you've determined what it is then you can decide if you want to live with that or replace it.
