Installing AKAI software with no DVD Drive

I have an ACER laptop with WIN 8 and was thinking of getting either the Ren or Studio.

But how would I install the software without a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive?

Would I need to buy an external USB drive?

Go to akaipro and download it to your machine. You may have to do a search to find 1.0 but its there.

If you do buy an external drive, make it DVD, not CD, as the installation discs are on DVD-ROM.

Don't forget to try yelling at the DVD, really shake your finger at it! Also try throwing the DVD at the computer and see if the installation starts, works sometimes...
