Mac OS 10.9, MPC 1.5/1.6 , launch no responding

I'm running OS 10.9 on 15' rMBP, I start to use MPC from the software verse 1.5.

Sometimes (50%), when I launch the software, it will be freeze and no responding.

After I update to 1.6, it still have this problem. But I didn't found anyone asked this question maybe I'm the special one..

I hope that someone can help me with this problem, it makes me sometimes upset when I run MPC,

had and still having the same issue, mainly with external audiocards.
for me works settings the latency not under 256 (preference panel).

I got this bug when i migrated from osx 10.6 to 10.9.

had it the first time with mpc software1.5 and still having it with 1.6 and thats a shame because they had the time to fix.

its like the software cant manage low latency settings, if used in conjuction with an external audiocard

try to open the app with just your internal audio chip, then press preference quikly anf chek if your latency is set on 256.
