How To Open The Bank?

How do you open the bank exapnsion? I want to access the instruments and/or there presets. I am very new to Akai MPC software and can use help.

On Your track 1 on screen u See somewhere DRUM click on It change To plug in, press the + and then select the bank,vst

After installing the Expansions from the installation discs, if you have updated MPC Software to anything 1.3 or higher, you have to run the Expansion updates that are included with the MPC Software updates, so that the Expansions run in 64 bit mode, or you have to run MPC Software in 32 bit mode.

Then you create a plugin track, and load the Expansion onto that plugin track as a plugin.

Have not used OS X 10.9, but in earlier OS X versions, you go to the MPC Software icon in the Applications folder, open Get Info (right click the icon and select Get Info, or highlight it and choose Get Info from the file menu), and tick the check box that says Open in 32-bit mode.

I'm also running Mavericks and had problems with the bank initially (well until 1.6 dropped).

The bank would show up under plug ins but none of the presets could be accessed..

I downloaded 1.6 and then inserted the bank into my external cd and reinstalled. Then it works.

If you have trouble actually finding the "plug in" click on the little "e" to the right of the program drop down menu on the main page (where your track drop down menu is near bottom of screen)...

Btw this is all in 64 bit mode. Enjoy mavericks... It's the shizz and soon enough developers will catch up
