Studio Malfunction

Okay, I'm experiencing problems with my month old MPC Studio.

First, it doesn't save correctly. Meaning, when I try to open saved projects, nothing is there.

Second, after I downloaded the update, my midi-controller keyboard no longer worked with the software.

Third, after I uninstalled and reinstalled the original program, there is a delay when ever I record.

Can someone please help?

when you reinstalled the software was it the latest version 1.6?

I use Windows 8 operating system.

And, yes, Ive installed 1.6.
