Sample cut off

I'm new to the mpc ren .. I have moved from the MPC2000 to the REN and just getting used to the changes.

My question is about note cut off it seems that each pad is automatically set to cut each other off where in the MPC2000 you would manually set it to cut off other pads. What I am trying to do is allow each pad to play without cutting off the other pad but seems to only work if i do it on the master mode . I want to specify individually what pad gets cut off and by which pad will cut it off. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Go to program edit, select all pads u want to effect, set mute groups to none/0, set all pad settings to poly.


Currently when you create a new program its always automatically set to monophonic, when u chop and create a program it also makes the whole program assigned to mute group 1 plus monophonic. I think they should just make it mute group none, pad play poly, and just make the master program setting mono as the default for creating new programs.
