It will probably happen again. When my ram went bad in my macbook, it would work for a while, then go into a kernal crash. I'd let it sit, then start it up again, it would be good for a while again, then kernal panic again. Replaced the ram and haven't looked back!

thank god I ordered new ram the day before it happened, everything happens for a reason I guess, wierd coincidence all of this

My issue seems to be isolated, I would still advise anyone take caution before installing, like it says in the pdf beta and not officially supported, akai is not liable for anything that happens if u decide to dl it. Im glad some people it works for, I gave my feedback to that email address, so y'all should do the same and let them know how that new driver is working so they can get it right.

yeah beeping stopped and the Rens audio interface also works now, i don't get that bit accurate or core audio setting in my preferences tho, whatever the beta driver did it made the sound card on my Ren work somehow so whatever so even though I uninstalled the beta driver and re-installed the driver from 1.6 my Ren works on Mavericks now for the most part, haven't really tested it too much but so far so good.
