Got a reply from akai about controlling software from 3rd party controllers they added to feature requests so will have to wait and see
On the subject of the unlock I'll let u know when I do my laptop tomorrow I just move the unlock file from my original computer to the to the folder after install when u open the mpc prog it's says unlock mpc go to unlock and the details are already there click ok I'm pretty sure I've done it 4 times tomorrow will either be 5 or def 4 as I've got it installed on 3 computers
Wouldn't it be the same if you done a time machine back up restore ,would you have to unlock to mpc again

Hello Graham,

Thanks for posting and for the feedback!

Integrating the MAX25, or any MIDI controller for that matter, to the controls of the MPC Software is a great idea.

This all falls under the umbrella of allowing the MPC Software to be controlled from an external controller. As far as volume fader control of each track; each track could have it's own MIDI CC number and that's what the external controller would assign to.

Good stuff! I'll forward this along as a feature request for you!

Let me know if you have any other questions!
