using MPC Software as sampler in DAW?

Hello guys im new to the mpc world. Just purchase my mpc studio and have some questions. I ask these question on the akai community page but it seems like they are avoid my question but anyways,

my first question is: it is possible to use the MPC Software as a sampler inside my DAW without using the built in Sequencer inside the plugin. I want to use the sounds inside the plugin but want to record the midi to my DAW. When i bought the MPC Studio i thought this was what they meant when the company said Full Daw integration. I just think the work flow of having to switch back and forth slows down anyone who uses a DAW. I want to be able to edit the midi into my daw with the soundds of the plugin

2nd question is there a tutorial on how to use Midi Controller Mode in Logic Pro, I seen the one with Ableton but i would like to know how using Logic Pro. If i can get these question answered that would be great

But for now
I use to use the mpc in cubase , I could record midi but only if I the ren was outputting to the daw and the daw was not returning the signal , basically ren out to daw in connected but daw out to ren in dissconected , so u couldn't hear it whilst recording

I could pencil midi notes and cc from the daw that worked , but if you want to use the pads it's no good ,
I think most just export the midi file created from the mpc into the daw

ahhh man…it just truly messes up the workflow if you mainly produce in a daw

I ended up just using the mpc on its own ,
The mpc can't send midi data both ways at once ,
I could trigger samples from my keyboard I think this might help u ,if you trigger them from your keyboard u may be able to rec that midi data and the daw will then pass it to the mpc ,to trigger that ,

And you CAN'T sample into the MPC plug-in. Pity, but logical.

You can in Pro Tools, don't know about other DAWs.

Most DAW's require an "FX" plugin version to route audio to/through a plugin.
That's why a lot of companies provide a Regular VSTi and also one that is Labeled FX.

what i mean is... well you know how you pull up any instrument in a daw right and the midi gets recording into the daw? thats what i want to do with the software. i dont want to use the midi sequencer in the software..but want to use the sounds from the software recording into the daw

I'm trying desperately to do the very same thing. But AKAI seem to insist on jurisdiction over the sequencer for MPC (I guess that's necessary to preserve that "MPC swing"... I can work around that and I'll just have to move sequences and stuff inside the MPC plugin whenever I re-arrange the other tracks in Logic but to be quite frank, for anyone producing music that goes beyond hip-hop beats, the famed MPC workflow seems to be more of an annoyance than anything else. :/
